Automotive Detailer

Job Overview

Drive Time is hiring Automotive Detailers. The Detailer tracks and monitors maintenance, cleans vehicles, maintains appearance, inspects, and records condition. Details trucks from auction and the Reconditioning Center and works with management to repair or reject inventory.

• Stock vehicles when they arrive from auction.
• Prepare and move vehicles around the Reconditioning Center for distribution to retail.
• Detail vehicles: wash, buff, minor paint touch‑up, vacuum interior, clean additional surfaces.
• Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance appearance.
• Perform inspections and keep complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition.
• Identify and complete repairs effectively to minimize re‑work and delays.
• Maintain a safe work environment and avoid spills and hazardous conditions.
• Work with Reconditioning Center Management to repair or reject inventory based on cost and quality.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable DMV status required.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Detail oriented, team player, reliable attendance.

• Pay $17.00 per hour, with Earn and Learn program for hourly increase.
