We are seeking a Senior Construction Technology Superintendent to lead field layout, scanning, and verification operations across commercial and K-12 construction projects. You will be responsible for creating and scaling the systems that connect construction models and project data to real‑world field execution. Your work will directly impact quality, productivity, safety, and project success across the organization.

This is both a leadership role and a hands‑on field role.

• Plan and execute robotic total station layout operations
• Coordinate with licensed surveyors and project teams
• Establish project control networks and verification workflows
• Ensure layout accuracy across foundations, embeds, utilities, and structural systems
• Maintain project benchmarks, control points, and layout documentation

• Implement model-based layout workflows
• Lead LiDAR and laser scanning verification efforts
• Leverage robotics and emerging technologies to improve field productivity
• Connect construction models and project information to real‑world installation activities

• Develop company-wide layout and verification standards
• Establish quality control procedures and acceptance criteria
• Create repeatable workflows that can scale across multiple projects
• Audit project compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate closely with Project Management, Field Operations, Preconstruction, Pre Fabrication, and Self Perform teams
• Support planning, sequencing, and constructability reviews
• Identify field constraints before they become project issues
• Serve as the technical resource for layout and verification challenges

• Mentor and develop Layout Foremen and field technology personnel
• Support workforce development and training initiatives
• Help expand Roebbelen's construction technology capabilities
• Build the foundation for a growing field technology program

You may be an excellent fit if you have:

• 8+ years of experience in construction, surveying, field layout, VDC, quality control, or related disciplines
• Strong experience with:
• Robotic Total Stations
• GNSS systems
• Survey control networks
• Experience with laser scanning, LiDAR, and point cloud technologies
• Strong understanding of construction tolerances and field verification processes
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on field execution
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience leading layout operations across multiple projects
• Self-perform construction experience
• Commercial or K-12 construction experience
• Experience integrating BIM models into field operations
• Team leadership and workforce development experience
• Process improvement and operational scaling experience
• Reality capture and digital twin workflows
