Construction Site Manager

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

Location: Lincolnshire

Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading UK business to recruit an experienced Construction Site Manager.

This role offers the opportunity to take full responsibility for delivering construction and refurbishment projects across a varied portfolio. You will oversee site operations from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard.

Working closely with the Contracts Manager and Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in coordinating labour, subcontractors, and materials to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.

• Oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring safe and efficient site operations
• Manage and monitor project programmes to maintain progress and meet deadlines
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and direct labour on a day-to-day basis
• Attend project and subcontractor meetings to ensure alignment across teams
• Provide regular and accurate progress updates to senior management
• Work alongside the Quantity Surveyor to track subcontractor performance and progress
• Organise material orders and ensure timely delivery in line with programme requirements
• Supervise site activities, ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Maintain quality standards and address any issues with workmanship promptly
• Manage site logistics, including deliveries and stock control
• Ensure all site documentation is accurate, up to date, and submitted as required

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential and/or commercial construction
• Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management practices
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors
• Understanding of planning requirements, ideally within rural or agricultural environments
• Knowledge of sustainable construction methods is beneficial
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work, Fire Marshal, and Scaffold Awareness certifications
• Full UK driving licence
