About Us

In House Performing Arts is a vibrant and growing dance studio in Summerland, British Columbia. Our mission is to fuel passion and technical excellence in dance and performance. We train triple‑threat performers (dance, singing, and acting) and are committed to helping our students thrive in both skill and confidence.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will teach students ages 5–18 in Hip Hop.

Dance Season & Schedule
  • Regular season: mid‑September through end of June
  • Two‑week break over the Christmas holidays
  • Two‑week March break; optional participation for part‑time staff in a 1‑week dance camp
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach weekly Hip Hop dance classes for ages 6–18
  • Choreograph pieces for performances, recitals, and competitions
  • Create a supportive and technically focused studio environment
  • Collaborate with a professional, motivated teaching team
  • Mentor and inspire dancers to grow as artists and individuals
Qualifications
  • 2–3+ years of teaching experience
  • Proficient and strong training in Hip Hop
  • Energetic, professional, and a team player
