About the Position:
Ensemble Schools is seeking a part-time Voice/Piano Instructor to teach in-person at New World Music Academy's Alamo location. The ability to teach a secondary instrument is a plus and can grow to a full-time opportunity, depending on the instrument(s). Teachers can set their availability within our open hours; consistency is appreciated and greater availability may be favored.
- Teach in-person voice and/or piano lessons at the Alamo location.
- Instruct a secondary instrument when applicable, with potential for growth to full-time.
- Maintain consistent availability and punctuality.
- Pass routine background checks as required.
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
- Instructor pay is $38-$42 per hour, commensurate with experience.
