Producer
We're looking for a Producer to drive the end-to-end production of our growing In-House Editorial team. Reporting to the In-House Editorial Manager, this role is the production force behind a high-volume editorial pipeline - establishing how creative vision becomes finished work, from the first brief to final delivery.
This position lives at the intersection of creative and production. The Producer partners closely with Creative Directors, Creative Producers, and Editors to build the production infrastructure that enables great creative work to be produced - translating vision into executable production plans, shepherding projects through post, and ensuring every deliverable lands on time, and to spec.
The right candidate has knowledge of the creative process, brings deep fluency in entertainment marketing post-production, and the leadership presence to guide editors, creative stakeholders, and finishing teams from kickoff through delivery.
This is a production role that demands production intelligence. The Producer doesn't just manage timelines - they actively structure how projects are built, sequenced, and resourced to protect the timeline and process that enables creative ambition to be realized.
- Lead production across a full slate of editorial deliverables - including TV spots, trailers, social and digital content, AV, custom content, BTS, featurettes, liners, and promotional assets - owning each project from brief through final delivery.
- Drive project kickoffs with Creative Directors, Creative Producers, and Editors, translating creative vision and brief requirements into structured production plans that support creative intent while establishing clear scope, milestones, and delivery timelines.
- Actively structure how projects are built - sequencing production to create space for creative exploration, iteration, and refinement without sacrificing delivery.
- Anticipate the downstream production impact of decisions made in editorial, communicating risks proactively and building contingency into plans before issues arise.
- Own the production lifecycle across multiple concurrent assignments - from intake and offline editorial through finishing and final delivery - serving as the production anchor for the editorial team.
- Partner closely with editors and assistant editors to ensure projects are properly set up, resourced, and routed through post efficiently and without friction.
- Maintain real-time visibility into editorial priorities, project status, approvals, and next steps - keeping all creative and production stakeholders aligned as work evolves.
- Proactively identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks, asset issues, and scheduling conflicts before they affect timelines or creative momentum.
- Manage the cadence of reviews, revisions, and stakeholder feedback throughout editorial, ensuring the process supports - rather than disrupts - editorial output.
- Drive workflows across graphics, VFX, color, sound mix, online/conform, versioning, QC, and delivery - ensuring finishing supports the creative vision through to the final frame.
- Ensure project handoffs are accurate, thorough, and delivered with all necessary assets, references, and technical specifications.
- Oversee final deliveries across formats and platforms, including cutdowns, texted/textless outputs, localization, and platform-specific versions.
- Serve as the primary production point of contact with finishing teams and vendors, ensuring deadlines, specs, and delivery standards are met.
- Serve as the connective tissue between the In-House Editorial team and cross-functional partners - creative, finishing, operations, and delivery - ensuring information flows clearly and production decisions move forward.
- Keep project documentation, trackers, and status communications consistently current and accessible to all stakeholders.
- Surface issues, blockers, or timeline risks to the In-House Editorial Manager with clear context and proposed solutions.
- Utilize tools such as Frame.io, Box, Airtable, or similar platforms to manage review cycles, organize assets, and maintain full production visibility across the team.
- Own and maintain editorial trackers, workflow documentation, and internal process materials.
- Audit and maintain server and cloud-based file structures in support of team organization and retrieval standards.
- Continuously refine production workflows, identify efficiency gains, and build scalable systems that support the team's output as it grows.
- 5-8+ years of experience in creative production, editorial production, or post-production, ideally within entertainment marketing, agency, streaming, studio, network, or trailer house environments.
- Proven track record producing high-volume editorial output - trailers, TV spots, social, digital, AV, and promotional content - from kickoff through delivery.
- Deep understanding of the full post-production pipeline: asset development, offline editorial, finishing (color, sound, online/conform,…
