This position is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is only available in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities- Use visual thinking and hands-on design skills to solve strategic business challenges
- Provide a unique perspective, creative ideas, and visual support across projects
- Contribute ideas, references, and insights during creative strategy and concept development
- Help bring creative ideas to life through mood boards, references, decks, and design thinking
- Flex and showcase a variety of creative skills across different projects and formats
- Design and deliver client-ready assets across social, out of home, brand marketing, advertising, web, events, print, pitches, and presentations
- Craft and elevate visually engaging decks that turn ideas into impactful visual stories
- Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
- Own design projects from concept through final execution
- Support and provide guidance to junior and mid-level designers as needed
- Collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with team members across the studio, agency, and client teams
- Thrive in a diverse environment and contribute to the overall culture of Day One
- 4+ years of experience at an advertising/creative agency or design studio
- Multi-disciplinary portfolio showcasing a range of design work and creative capabilities
- Skilled in designing across digital, print, and experiential platforms, with an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of each
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slides
- Strong understanding of typography, photo retouching, storyboarding, and animation direction
- Proven track record of taking projects from concept through design and final delivery
- Comfortable presenting creative concepts and working closely with clients to apply creative solutions to business challenges
- Collaborative approach to iterating on and evolving concepts through constructive feedback
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think through creative challenges
- Adept at multitasking and prioritizing workloads while maintaining quality through quick turnarounds
- Energetic team player with a great work ethic and willingness to jump in where needed
