Role Overview
A Customer Service Representative III works in all aspects of customer service including product selection, order processing, and inventory management.
This role may also involve supporting warehouse operations, such as stocking, retrieving items, making deliveries, operating a forklift, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and supporting general branch needs.
What You'll Do- Handle electronic order entry and processing utilizing JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Respond to customer sales inquiries in a timely, accurate, and appropriate manner.
- Submit and code bills and invoices to the Accounts Payable department for payment.
- Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer needs.
- Conduct monthly inventory cycle counts and annual inventory counts.
- Support the Sales Team with accurate customer pricing and quickly resolve inquiries or concerns.
- Prepare reports with minimal supervision.
- Act as informal team lead.
- Ensure administrative tasks are completed.
- 4+ years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using JD Edwards or a similar ERP system (training will be provided if needed).
- Ability to accurately apply basic math concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios.
- Mobility to move freely across uneven terrain both indoors and outdoors safely.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills to influence and advise others.
- Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Professional response to inquiries or complaints.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Desire to lead others.
Base compensation ranges from $22.98 to $30.68 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
