Job Title
The District offers health benefits for both employee and family. There are five plans that the employee can choose from. Each plan offers a different level of coverage and cost. The negotiated settlement that the District pays for the annual cap for health benefits for certificated staff is $16,500. Bilingual stipend of $4,000 annually. Masters Degree stipend of $4,000 annually Medical plans range from low deductible PPO plans to high deductible plans.
Composite rate to cover your family members and/or registered domestic partners. Dental plans are on an incentive tier (plan pays coinsurance at 70% the first year and increases by 10% each year that the member visits the dentist, to a maximum of 100%). Dental plans have an unlimited annual plan maximum dollar amount. Vision coverage co-pays are $5/exam and $25/materials.
Members may get an exam every 12 months and materials every 24 months. Employees have a $20,000 life insurance policy, with an option to increase the policy amount and add coverage for family members. The District contributes 19.10% for participation in the State Teachers Retirement System.
