The RoleAs a Technical Consultant, Buildings & Master Planning with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Senior Architect to join our Master Planning & Facilities team at Worley Consulting, based in Mumbai. With a minimum of 10 years of architectural experience, you will bring a strong design sensibility, leadership acumen, and a passion for business development.
- This role offers the opportunity to lead transformative projects, collaborate directly with clients, and contribute to global initiatives. International experience is highly valued. You will report to the Worley Consulting India Lead with a dotted line to the Buildings Practice Lead, based in London.
- Lead the design and delivery of innovative, functional, and sustainable building solutions.
- Engage effectively with clients, design teams, and stakeholders.
- Have some knowledge of the building market within India and equally an interest in business development.
- Plan and prioritize work streams, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Apply strategic thinking to develop solutions from limited initial information.
- Identify and propose impactful design interventions for master planning and architectural projects.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment.
- Present ideas and designs confidently to internal and external audiences.
- Utilize architectural software tools proficiently (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Build strong networks across Worley’s global teams.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement in design and delivery.
- Travel as required for projects, client meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Qualifications & Experience- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent; eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer as optional. Preference for candidates with specialization in industrial environments. - Experience:
Proven track record in feasibility studies and evaluating alternative design solutions. - End-to-end project leadership from concept to completion.
- Strong client engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and budget‑conscious project delivery.
- Demonstrated success in concept design, architectural bids, and creative brainstorming.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong architectural design and technical capabilities. - Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and quick sketching (hand‑drawn and 3D models).
- Excellent graphic communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and other relevant tools.
- Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication. - Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Creative problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
