Landscape Architect Project Manager

Whatyou'll do
- Lead and mentor a team of landscape architects through all phases of project delivery
- Manage projects from concept through construction, ensuring on-time and on-budget performance
- Develop innovative, sustainable design solutions for a variety of project types including parks, commercial developments, and master planned communities
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement design concepts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including networking, proposal development, interviews, and fee negotiations
- Prepare and deliver project proposals, presentations, and technical reports
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and permitting requirements
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Continuously improve design processes, project delivery methods, and team performance
- Support the growth and development of team members through coaching and mentorship
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture
- Professional Landscape Architect license (PLA/RLA) required
- 810+ years of experience in landscape architecture design and project management
- Experience across multiple project types (e.g., parks, commercial, mixed-use, master planned communities)
- Strong knowledge of site planning, entitlement processes, and permitting requirements
- Experience with project budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a design team
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Must submit a portfolio that demonstrates design experience and understanding of the full project lifecycle
- Portfolio should include built project photography, presentation graphics, and representative design materials showcasing technical and creative capabilities
