AutoCAD Engineer

Holland's Custom Cabinets is seeking an AutoCAD Engineer specializing in commercial work. The position is an in-person role located in El Cajon, CA.

Required Qualifications:

• In-person position only (no remote or hybrid work)
• Minimum of two years of experience using AutoCAD or comparable CAD software in a commercial environment
• Working knowledge of ADA compliance requirements
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and advance within the company
  • Ability and willingness to perform field measurements when required
  • Understanding of commercial cabinetry and millwork

  Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • Experience with Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or similar cabinetry design software
  • Knowledge of commercial construction methods and architectural drawings
  • Familiarity with building codes and industry standards
  • Experience preparing shop drawings and fabrication documents
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate drawings
    • Experience coordinating with architects, contractors, and project managers

    The position will be compensated on an hourly basis, with a starting pay range of $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

    This is a full-time position requiring a 40-hour work week unless otherwise directed by management. Standard working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., although schedule adjustments may be considered with prior approval from the manager.
