Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team in Jackson, CA. We are seeking a motivated and mission‑driven Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician to join our rural residency program. • 0.5-0.7 FTE Faculty/Teaching + 0.3–0.5 FTE Clinical (flexible and negotiable)
• Core faculty rate: $171/hr (up to 0.7 FTE available)
• Work closely with Sacramento and Davis Faculty

• Passion for teaching, curriculum involvement, and faculty development
• Inpatient experience is a plus
• OB optional, but welcomed

• Rural, full‑scope Family Medicine with high complexity
• Diverse patient population with significant medical and social challenges

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine – Required
• Must be qualified and appropriately credentialed physicians capable of providing clinical care and resident education – Required
• Must maintain active clinical skills and provide direct patient care to model appropriate practice for residents – Required
• Must be able to teach, supervise, and evaluate residents using ACGME competency‑based assessment frameworks – Required
• Must participate in curriculum development, resident assessment, and program evaluation, contributing to continuous program improvement – Required
• Must want to do a variety of procedures – Preferred
