Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician

Sutter Health is seeking a BE/BC Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join our collegial and dedicated team at Sutter Lakeside Outpatient Clinic, located in the beautiful mountain ranges of Lake County. Key Responsibility

• Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Perform routine and chronic disease management (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, COPD, heart disease).
• Conduct physical exams, preventive care, and wellness visits.
• Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions commonly seen in an ambulatory setting.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines.
• Manage medication therapy, refills, and adjustments.

Experience

• Five (5) years of recent, relevant clinical experience preferred

Certification & Licensure

• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Eligible for California medical licensure
• DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Additional certifications (PALS, NRP) as required by department policy
