Roseville Area Schools Community Education is seeking committed, energetic and creative staff to work in Out of School Time Programs with youth in grades K-8. This is a summer seasonal position that will work directly with students in our Out of School Time Program from June 15th through August 21st with three additional required trainings that will occur in early May and set up days from June 10th-12th.

Part Time (Seasonal)
- Mornings: 6:30/7:00am - 12:00/12:30pm
12:00/12:30pm - 5:30pm/6:00pm (Must be available to work 5days out of the week - Monday through Friday. No weekends)
Compensation:- Hourly pay: $17.50/hour
- Program Implementation:
Assist in developing and leading program activities that cater to the interests, talents, and learning styles of students. Ensure that activities are engaging and educational. - Safety and Supervision:
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the program. Supervise children during activities, both indoors and outdoors, and ensure they are following program guidelines. - Role Modeling:
Serve as a positive role model to students, demonstrating respect, responsibility, and professionalism at all times. - Behavior Management:
Support the management of behavior in a large group setting, using positive discipline techniques to maintain a safe and productive environment. - Collaboration:
Work as part of a team, collaborating with other staff to plan and implement program activities, events, and student engagement strategies. - Communication:
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff. Share information as needed regarding student progress, safety concerns, and program updates. - Physical Activity:
Participate in daily outdoor activities and assist students with physical tasks as needed, ensuring everyone stays engaged and active. - Planning & Meetings:
Attend weekly staff meetings, contribute to the planning process for program activities, and engage in continuing education opportunities as assigned.
- Required:
- Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma.
- Experience working with school-age youth.
- Strong program development and communication skills.
- Ability to go outside every day and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability for weekly staff meetings, planning time, and continuing education opportunities.

Skills:- Knowledge of youth development.
- Experience with large group management.
- Developing lesson and facilitating learning in a classroom setting.
