MHS is seeking dedicated couples to join our team as Full‑time Flex Houseparents. This impactful position invites couples to live on‑campus in student homes, offering care, guidance, supervision, and support to 8–13 students in a nurturing, family‑like environment. Flex Houseparents play an essential role in promoting the academic, emotional, and social development of students, empowering them to achieve their fullest potential.

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules effectively.
• Oversee medication administration and student wellness.
• Transport students to various activities while planning and engaging in developmental and recreational programs.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services.
• Handle budgeting and household reporting.

Upon hiring, Flex Houseparents will support different student homes, typically working a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. During weekdays, houseparents enjoy dedicated time while students are in school. After initial placement, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, fostering continuity and stability for students.

• Competitive salary: $44,768.00 per individual (approximately $168,000 total compensation per couple, inclusive of free housing, meals during duty hours, utilities, and more).

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a role designed for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage.
• Both partners should be at least 27 years of age.
• Household may not exceed three dependent children living in the student home.
• Commitment to maintaining a smoke‑free and weapon‑free environment; no alcohol allowed while on duty.
• Pet restrictions: only fish and one approved breed dog are allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and capability to become certified for driving student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and participating in non‑proselytizing Judeo‑Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exemplary integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students.
