Seeking a part‑time adjunct instructor to support the Hospitality Management program for the 2025‑2026 academic year. The instructor will develop and deliver course materials, assess student learning, and contribute to program growth.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver curriculum via multiple modalities.
- Teach courses to a diverse student population.
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback.
- Participate in recruitment and articulation activities with local schools, colleges, and universities.
- Maintain subject‑matter currency and explore new technologies.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote innovation, teaching, learning, and service.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent foreign degree plus 2 years of professional experience directly related to the assignment.
- OR Associate degree or equivalent foreign degree plus 6 years of professional experience directly related to the assignment.
- OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and accomplishments judged equal to the stated minimum qualifications.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
- Degrees and credits from accredited institutions. Foreign degrees must be evaluated by a recognized credential evaluation service.
- Completed online application for employment.
- Current resume.
- Copy of legible transcripts (if required). For foreign degrees, submission of an evaluation from an NACES or ACEI member agency.
