Location: Princeton
Make a difference at PRINCETON SECONDARY SCHOOL in a full time Social Justice, English 8 teaching role. This position focuses on enhancing learning for students through customized support until June 2026.
In this temporary teaching position, you will work with grade-level students while holding a valid BC Teaching Certificate. Your role will involve adapting various teaching materials to create an inclusive classroom environment. The school seeks candidates who are committed to fostering positive relationships and collaborative efforts within the educational community.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct students in English 8 and Social Justice topics
- Modify lesson plans for individual learning needs
- Encourage social-emotional growth among students
- Work closely with other educators to support student development
- Cultivate relationships with staff, parents, and students
- Valid BC Teaching Certificate with BC Curriculum knowledge
- Experience working with grade-level students
- Teaching category five or higher
- Passion for diversity and inclusion in education
- Strong skills in building community and team relationships
