Help
Provide services of school psychologist to a school or school complex where such services are required because of education programs for exceptional children and/or unique school and/or community programs for families and students.
Assist in developing, implementing, or consulting with school-wide prevention/intervention programs (i.e., conflict resolution, social skills, anti-bullying programs, etc.) that foster a positive and safe school climate.
Consult with teachers and other school staff members on strategies for working with students presenting academic, social or behavioral concerns.
Participate in conferences with school staff members regarding behavioral characteristics and issues of students/families, and psychological factors of the school environment.
Evaluate the results of individual psychological measurements (including intellectual/cognitive, social, achievement, and personality) for a variety of audiences and provide recommendations for interventions strategies based on the results.
Provide counseling services individually and/or in groups on issues such as academic success, developing social skills, anger management, stress management, and behavioral control.
