Instrumental music teacher; 60% at Lakeside Middle School with Beg. and Advanced Band and Beg. and Advanced Orchestra; 40% at client elementary schools one day a week grade

Job Description / Essential Elements:
Print Tests students for the presence of musical ability. Determine interest shown by children and parents in the selection of a musical instrument. Must be able to instruct students in the fundamentals of playing all instrumental groups (brass, percussion, woodwinds and strings). Place district-owned musical instruments expediently. Set up a schedule of classes for instruction in instrumental music according to school, student ability and instrumentation.

Direct and encourage students to perform for others in school functions. Teach the mechanical aspects of playing the chosen instrument. Teach the principals of musicianship. Must be willing to assume responsibility for extra-curricular activities.
