Do you enjoy interacting with the public, cultural mediation, and teamwork?
Are you interested in digital technology and have a passion for working with teenage audiences?
This versatile position will allow you to fully participate in the life of a dynamic and open local cultural facility, serving all audiences, led by a committed team of three staff members who work daily to promote access to culture, information, and digital technology.

Daily MissionsCommunication
- Media library communication liaison
- Writing and distribution of materials (website, monthly flyer, newsletter, municipal journal, social networks…)
- Tracking registrations for events
- Enhancing communication in spaces
- Internal material creation and writing
- Partner relations for information relay
Digital
- Media library digital liaison
- Organization of thematic workshops and audience support
- Equipment maintenance (tablets, e-readers, video games…)
- Primary contact for IT service and digital advisors
- Internal team training on digital tools
- Monitoring and development of digital service offerings
Cultural Action & Partnerships
- Partnership liaison with youth club and leisure centers
- Participation in cultural programming and network projects
- Workshops and school group hosting with a proactive approach
- Contribution to cross-cutting projects (Digital Weeks, EMI…)
- Proactive in developing cultural projects
Reception & Services to Audiences
- User reception, registration, and information
- Loan/return management and kiosk support
- Participation in PIB and reservation processing
- Group hosting (schools, early childhood, after-school…)
- Mediation and enhancement of collections and services
Collection Management & Development
- Building and enhancing collections: science fiction/fantasy, youth comics and manga, teen novels, poetry, theater, poetry, board games – adult and youth non-fiction with the entire team
- Participation in acquisitions (budget tracking, orders)
- Cataloging, indexing, equipment, and weeding
- Writing domain cards and thematic bibliographies
We are looking for a committed, creative, and organized professional with a strong sense of public service. You have a good understanding of the librarian profession and document offerings, and you ensure the quality of reception and the enhancement of collections. You have a particular interest in information technologies and their development in the media library.
You ideally have experience in a media library and are proficient with library management software, especially Orphée NX, as well as the different stages of the document cycle. You are comfortable with classification techniques, office tools, the Internet, and digital equipment. Versatile, you can handle reception, mediation, and animation tasks for various audiences.
With strong interpersonal skills, you enjoy teamwork and partnerships. Organized, thorough, and autonomous, you demonstrate adaptability, responsiveness, and curiosity. Your creativity and communication skills are real assets to contribute to the dynamism of the media library.
