Nursing Science/Clinical Practice Instructor – Part‑time Adjunct

PC – Main Campus, Porterville, CA. Salary: $66–67 per hour.

We are seeking instructional faculty to teach Nursing Science and Clinical Practice courses on a part‑time, hourly basis within the Health Careers Department. The instructor will deliver course content, develop curriculum materials, and assess student learning outcomes.

• Develop and deliver curriculum for nursing courses, including different modalities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and students across diverse backgrounds.
• Assess and evaluate student learning outcomes.
• Maintain subject‑matter currency and current nursing best practices.
• Participate in recruitment, articulation, and program promotion activities.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Use technology to enhance the learning experience.
• Contribute to the mission of the California community college system.

• Master’s degree in nursing, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing plus Master’s in health education or health science, OR
• Qualifications set by the Board of Registered Nursing, whichever is higher.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse student populations.
• Equivalency process available for foreign or international degrees (evaluation required).

• Foreign‑degree holders must submit credential evaluations by NACES or ACEI.
