Computer Science Instructor – Part-time Adjunct
Salary: $67.00 hourly.

Basic FunctionMissions:
Serve as part‑time adjunct faculty in the Computer Science department, teaching courses as required for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Provide high‑quality instruction in computer science or related fields, develop and deliver curriculum, assess student learning, and collaborate with colleagues and students in a diverse setting.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a combination of a Bachelor’s in one of those fields and a Master’s in Mathematics, Cybernetics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Engineering.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Engineering paired with a Master’s in Mathematics, Cybernetics, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- And a Master’s degree in Information Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and accomplishments.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse student populations.
- Credited degrees must be from accredited institutions. International degrees require evaluation.
- Work effectively with colleagues and students in a diverse, innovative environment.
- Teach and assess students of varied motivations and goals.
- Develop curriculum, including delivery via multiple modalities.
- Participate in recruitment and articulation activities.
- Communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
- Maintain subject‑matter currency.
- Assess student learning outcomes.
- Have knowledge of computers and willingness to explore new technologies.
- Commit to the California community‑college mission.
