Violin/Viola Long-Term Substitute Teacher
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional Violin/Viola long-term substitute teacher to teach part-time for our Lake Forest, CA school Glee Music Academy. We are looking for teachers who will instruct in person at our studio!
We are currently looking for a teacher to cover a part-time schedule from an absent teacher Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3pm-8pm. Option to extend as a regular teacher with available teaching hours Wednesdays & Fridays from 3pm-8pm, Saturdays from 9am-2pm. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
Additional hours and days can be added as studio space is available, experience working with younger students and neurodivergent students is preferred. The ability to teach other instruments is a plus.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $32-$36/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 30 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.

This posting is for Glee Music Academy. Glee Music Academy is located in Lake Forest, and has been serving the local community with music lessons for over a decade. We have a clean, spacious, and beautiful music studio: complete with 9 teaching rooms, a recital hall, break room, and music lab.
