Temporary 1.0 Fte Teacher – Joint Secondary School
Effective September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.

Candidate Requirements- Willing and adaptable to teach other subjects and in an outdoor setting as required
- Physically capable to perform the duties of the position
- Experience teaching Nuu‑chah‑nulth language
- Valid BC Certification with the TRB, with qualifications and experience at the secondary level with a major in Science and/or Math and training and/or experience in current methodologies and strategies applicable to high school Science or Math; recent experience teaching BC Curriculum Grades 8 to 12 Math and/or Science
- A lived knowledge of the Nuu‑chah‑nulth Language & Culture, and experience teaching in Nuu‑chah‑nulth; language fluency certificate
