Elementary School, Special Education Teacher
Location: Willits
Teaching Physical Education
Teaching Physical Education in an elementary school setting. This position will be for the 2026/27 school year only.
Requirements / QualificationsPossession of a valid California Multiple Subject Credential, Single Subject Credential in Physical Education, or other California credential and authorization permitting Physical Education instruction in grades K–2. Knowledge of California Standards for the Teaching Profession;
English Learner Authorization (CLAD, BCLAD, CTEL, or equivalent). Ability to meet all credentialing requirements established by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Valid California Teaching Credential:
Multiple Subject; or Single Subject in Physical Education. English Learner Authorization (CLAD, BCLAD, CTEL, or equivalent).

Benefits Employees are provided with an insurance plan, which includes health, vision, and dental insurance for employee, spouse, and dependents, at a shared cost. Participation in this plan is mandatory for employees working 35 plus hours a week. Employee will be a member of the California State Teachers' Retirement System (STRS) to which both the employee and WUSD contribute. Employee may elect to be a member of the Willits Teachers Association Union.
