The position is for a certified high school Technology Education Teacher. The courses for the  school year include 4 Metal Shop and 1 Integrated course.

Metal shop competence is a required qualification beyond standard certification. The assignment includes four metal shop courses. A qualified applicant must be demonstrably prepared to teach metalworking processes, guide student skill development, and manage shop‑based learning effectively—not merely general technology instruction.

• Shop instruction is safety‑critical and must be consistently executed.
  Metal shop teaching requires rigorous adherence to safety procedures, active supervision of equipment use, and the ability to prevent hazards through student training and classroom/shop management. Because the instructor teaches four metal shop courses, this responsibility is ongoing and not limited to a single unit or occasional activity.
