FTE - Student Intervention Technician - Bus Assistant

Job Title

Under the general supervision of the site principal and special education director, and subject to the day-to-day needs, will assist with behavior management during transportation of students.

• Education equivalent to graduation from high school. Ability to maintain confidentiality related to student information. Ability to follow directions and work independently. NCLB compliant. (AA Degree or passing score on district Instructional Assistant Proficiency Exam) DESIRABLE

QUALIFICATIONS:

Pro-ACT Training Experience or training working with at-risk students. Training in implementing Behavior Support Plans. Knowledge of child development. Knowledge of behavior interventions. REQUIREMENTS:
Fingerprints TB test Valid California driver's license
