We value our team members and invest in their growth by providing opportunities to build real-world skills, gain leadership experience, and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Role Overview

The Assistant Site Coordinator has a unique dual role: you work directly with students as well as administration. You will work with administrative staff at the school, develop lesson plans, track attendance, and ensure grant compliance.

  • Attend trainings or staff meetings to stay updated on best practices in childcare, safety, and program management.
  • Address challenging behavior constructively, involving supervisors or parents if necessary.
  • Facilitate sign-up procedures to ensure accurate attendance tracking.
  • Create unique clubs for students (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
  • Organize and lead a variety of activities, including homework help, recreational games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience working in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to talk to both kids and parents comfortably.
  • College transcripts showing 48+ college credit units completed OR pass an academic proficiency exam.
  • TB test (provide proof of negative result) and pass a Live Scan background check.
  • English-Spanish bilingual speaker preferred.
Additional Requirements

If the school requires Covid-19 vaccination, documentation of full vaccination must be provided.
