Job DescriptionFallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner:
- Assist students with a patient and friendly attitude and provide general support in a non‑judgemental, non‑reactive manner.
- Assist instructional personnel with the development and presentation of a variety of instructional materials and instructional exercises.
- Assist students in a group or an individual basis, with specific instructional tasks and/or specific student goals to accommodate their development and growth.
- Assist with data collection and assessments for student IEP goals and behavior support services.
DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

- LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: Student Year Employee Calendar
- WORK SITE: Live Oak Elementary (school site subject to change based on student needs)
- WORK SCHEDULE: 7.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- BENEFITS: Benefit package includes Health and Welfare, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
- REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification;
Maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification provided by the district. - Maintain CPR and first aid certification as provided by the District.
- Within the probationary period, paraprofessionals will be expected to participate in District-wide training/supervision and receive a District Certificate of Competence.
