The Coachella Valley Unified School District is located in the southeastern area of Riverside County, California, approximately 22 miles from Palm Springs. It is located in a rural and primarily agricultural area; school sites are spread out over a 1200 square mile area with an elementary/high school actually located in Imperial County.
