Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking a Learning Disability Teacher Consultant (LDTC) for the 2026 - 2027 School Year
Qualifications- Must hold a NJ Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) Certification.
- Experience serving on a Child Study Team in a public school setting preferred.
- Knowledge of IDEA, N.J.A.C. 6A:14, special education procedures, and Child Study Team responsibilities.
- Experience conducting comprehensive educational evaluations and interpreting assessment data.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other diverse learning needs preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to establish positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Working ConditionsFulltime, tenure track, 10 month position, with benefits
Salary range:
Based on FLEA salary guide which ranges between $64,375 and $121,709, commensurate with experience.
September 1, 2026 plus NTO.
