Per Diem Classroom Aide | Fontana, California

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed for flexible, per diem opportunities supporting students in school settings near Fontana, CA. As an Instructional Aide Substitute, youll work one-on-one or in small groups, assisting students in achieving classroom success academically, behaviorally, and socially. What you ll do:

• Provide individualized or small-group assistance under teacher direction
• Support students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Implement behavioral support or IEP plans as needed
• Assist with supervision, personal care, and mobility tasks
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere

Minimum requirements for school compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test in line with school district requirements
• Capability to stand, walk, and help with lifting if needed
• Ability to clear all required background checks in advance

Preferred experience and qualities:

• Experience in classrooms, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training a plus, though not required
• Reliable work ethic, patience, and a collaborative spirit
