Join our Lewis-Palmer School District team for the school year as a Special Education Paraprofessional and see how your support helps students and yourself thrive. This position will be working on all student contact days plus three professional development days determined by the principal for a total of 165 days. This full time position starts August 10, 2026 and is eligible for benefits.
Under general supervision, the position assists in conducting intensified learning experiences for students in assigned areas of study. Candidates will perform a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel and perform related work as required.
The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.95 - $21.51,depending on previous experience. A higher starting rate may be granted to applicants who hold one of the following: a current Colorado educator's license, bachelor's degree, RBT certification, CNA license or RMA/CMA certificate.
All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. The employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans.
Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
