The Amador County Unified School District allows year for year experience credit when placing employees on the salary schedule. Experience must be fulltime, contracted work & worked over 75% of each school year to qualify (substitute work does not qualify).
Requirements / QualificationsValid California credential authorizing: 1.) Single Subject Teaching Credential - Mathematics AND 2.) English Learner Compliance. Attach to application:
Letter of Introduction, Resume, Three Current Letters of Recommendation (with a year).
English Learner Compliance:
If you don't have an EL (English Learner Authorization) or CLAD (Cross cultural, Language & Academic Development) you will be required to apply for an emergency CLAD permit with the CTC as a condition of employment. During the first year of employment you will need to earn the English Learner Authorization or CLAD certificate by course work, exam or a combination of course work and exam.
The associated costs for the emergency permit and course work/exams will be at the employee's expense.
