There are no minimum requirements for this position.

• Proficiency in oral and written Spanish;
• Ability to communicate in English;
• New York State Teaching Certification (preferred);
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or Languages;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Ability to demonstrate cultural competency.

• Plan and deliver cultural lessons in Spanish and English;
• Promote cultural awareness and appreciation in the school community;
• Provide support to multilingual students under the general direction of a certified teacher;
• Support staff with information about students’ language and cultural backgrounds to assist planning;
• Communicate and partner with families and staff;
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
