- If you are currently a substitute with Tagg Education, you are not eligible to be a licensed substitute with D49 at this time.

Day to Day Substitute Teaching - Current substitutes do not need to apply.

Licensed Substitute/Guest Staff Orientation: New substitutes are required to participate in an orientation – dates to be determined.

Starting Pay Rates: Full Day = $180.00, Half Day = $108.00.

Employment Period: As Needed.

• BA/BS from accredited college or university OR

• Translates lesson plans into learning experiences to best utilize the available time for instruction.
• Demonstrates subject matter concepts and examples using models, technology provided, and teacher‑prepared instructional aids.
• Demonstrates punctuality and good attendance.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures, including proper use of equipment.
• Follows appropriate district policies and procedures.
• Assumes responsibility for instruction, duties, and supervision of students according to assigned position.
• Demonstrates confidentiality as related to the job.
• Establishes rapport with students and provides a pleasant, safe, and orderly climate conducive to learning.
• Supervises students in and out of classroom activities during the assigned work day.
