• Teach a high-needs high school class serving students with severe disabilities, typically 8–12 students with para educator support
• Deliver instruction in functional academics, communication, social-emotional learning, daily living, and vocational skills
• Lead compliant, student-centered IEPs with measurable goals and consistent progress monitoring
• Collaborate closely with related services teams (SLP, OT, PT), school psychologists, and general education partners
• Implement AAC, visual supports, and evidence-based behavior strategies in alignment with BIPs
• Coordinate transition planning and work-based learning, including community-based instruction where appropriate
• Provide clear direction, coaching, and schedules for para educators to ensure consistent student support
• Use Liri AI to reduce paperwork so you can focus on students

• California Education Specialist Credential in Special Education (Severe Disabilities or equivalent authorization preferred)
• Experience supporting high school students with complex needs, including AAC and behavior supports
• Strong collaboration, adaptability, and a commitment to dignity, safety, and inclusion
• Comfort leading teams of para educators and coordinating with families and service providers

• Hourly: $60/hour on W2 and $75 on 1099, based on experience
