Substitute teachers needed for per diem and short-term assignments in grades pre-kindergarten to grade 6. We also have assignments for high school special education at the Gilbert School.
Job SummaryTeach students lesson plans left by teacher.
QualificationsBA preferred but not required.
Requirements- Must pass federal and local background checks.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must complete all pre-employment requirements before the start date.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Normally teachers are assigned seven hours of instruction with one prep period and a half hour lunch each day.
CompensationCertified Teacher Substitutes - $130.00 per day
Non-Certified Substitutes - $120.00 per day
Para Substitutes - $16.35 per hour
