We are currently accepting applications for licensed substitutes who are interested in teaching in our Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) preschool classes on an on-call basis.

Position: Substitute ECFE Licensed Teachers
Location: Community Education - All ECFE Sites

Pay Rate
: $24.00 per hour

• Current MN teaching license in any area.
• Experience working with young children in a preschool setting.
• Knowledge of positive behavior guidance and child development.
• Ability to multi-task and provide active, nurturing care.

Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District # 877requires that all substitutes have a current teaching license from the Minnesota Department of Education

If you hold a 4-year degree, but not in the field of education, you may apply to become a Short Call Substitute Teacher through PELSB . Please visit their Online Licensing System to obtain your Short Call Substitute Teaching license, prior to completing this application to become substitute teacher for BHM Schools. The entire licensing process is done directly with PELSB Educator Licensing and may take 6-8 weeks to complete.

Applicants are responsible for all fees associated with obtaining their license and ISD 877 cannot guarantee how many days you may or may not work once you obtain your license. MDE cannot complete your application until they receive all pieces ofyour application, including payment. After you obtain your Short-Call Substitute License, please return to complete this application.
