The Coordinator - MTSS & Section 504 provides district wide leadership, coordination, technical assistance, professional learning, and monitoring for the District's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Section 504 programs and services, and related student-support systems.

The Coordinator leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive MTSS framework that integrates academic, behavioral, attendance, social-emotional, engagement, and other student-success indicators to support early identification, timely intervention, progress monitoring, and improved student outcomes. The Coordinator also provides district wide leadership for Section 504 implementation and compliance to ensure eligible students with disabilities receive appropriate accommodations, services, and equal access to educational programs and activities.

Working collaboratively across Educational & Student Services - including School Leadership, Assessment and Accountability, Special Services, Counseling, Mental Health & Student Wellness, Student Success and Resources and other district departments - the Coordinator strengthens campus capacity and promotes aligned, equitable, and effective systems of support for students and families.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Minimum of five (5) years of successful professional experience in education.

Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with MTSS, intervention systems, student supports, Section 504, special education, attendance, behavior, counseling, or related educational programs.

Demonstrated ability to use student and system-level data to identify needs, monitor implementation, and improve student outcomes.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with administrators, educators, families, community partners, and other stakeholders.

Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Special Education, School Counseling, Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field.

Valid Oklahoma educator certification or eligibility for appropriate Oklahoma certification.

Administrative certification.

Minimum of three (3) years of successful classroom teaching, counseling, special education, intervention, or comparable direct student-service experience.

Campus or district leadership experience as a coordinator, administrator, instructional coach, intervention specialist, counselor, Section 504 facilitator, or comparable position.

Experience leading or supporting district wide MTSS, RTI, PBIS, Section 504, attendance, behavioral, academic intervention, or student-success systems.

Experience providing professional learning, coaching, consultation, or technical assistance to educators.

The Coordinator leads the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the District's Multi-Tiered System of Supports. The Coordinator establishes and supports a comprehensive framework addressing academic achievement, behavior, attendance, social-emotional needs, student engagement, and other barriers to student success. The Coordinator provides guidance and technical assistance to schools regarding effective Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III systems and evidence-based interventions;

supports campus problem‑solving teams in identifying student needs, selecting appropriate interventions, monitoring progress, evaluating student response, and adjusting supports; and establishes consistent expectations for intervention documentation, frequency, duration, fidelity, and progress monitoring.
