Special Education Teacher in Ramona, CA

  Mild/Moderate (grades 4-6; specific caseload to be determined)

• Compensation ranges from $40 - $55 per hour, depending on experience.

Core

Qualifications:

• Active California Credential in Mild/Moderate Special Education (required)
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students with mild/moderate learning needs preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum to diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Manage and maintain accurate records and reports as required
• Provide ongoing assessment and progress monitoring to inform instructional decisions
