Literacy Paraprofessional Aide

Under the direction of a classroom teacher or site administrator, the Literacy Paraprofessional Aide provides instructional support to students in reading, writing, and language development. This position works with individual students and small groups to reinforce literacy skills, support classroom instruction, and help students meet academic goals. The Literacy Paraprofessional Aide assists with lesson activities, monitors student progress, maintains a positive learning environment, and collaborates with teachers to promote student achievement and success.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass the Literacy Paraprofessional Exam. Experience working with school-age children preferred. Strong reading, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families in a supportive educational environment.
