Position: Field Operations Assistant - Marin & Sonoma County
Location: Quartz Hill

Site Coordinator – Eastside Union School District

We are looking for an After School Programs Site Coordinator who will be in charge of the planning, implementation, and administration of after‑school programs for students.

At HOKALI, we simplify how schools book, organize, and manage after‑school programs and camps. Our platform helps schools find and book a wide variety of onsite programs to supplement learning and enrich students' extracurricular experiences. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to explore their interests and reach their full potential.

Schedule

Monday to Friday mornings 6:30am to 7:45am; afternoons 2:30pm to 6pm;
Wednesdays 1:20pm to 6pm.

Responsibilities
  • Research best practices in youth development, recreational education, and after‑school programming.
  • Support curriculum plans and activities for each program, ensuring they are educational, safe, and fun.
  • Coordinate logistics, including activity scheduling, facility booking, and transportation when necessary.
  • Oversee and manage the budget allocated to after‑school programs, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and HOKALI’s internal policies across all activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, participant progress, and any incidents.
  • Manage inventory of equipment and materials needed for the programs.
  • Train and supervise a large team of instructors and supervisors.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to program staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Handle inquiries, complaints, or difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Identify areas for improvement in program design, implementation, and management.
  • Report regularly to the Area Manager regarding program, site, and staff performance.
Qualifications
  • Educational background in education, child development, or related field preferred.
  • Passion for education and working with kids.
  • Strong leadership and professionalism when working with schools and students.
  • Experience working in schools and leading large teams.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students in a fun and educational environment.
  • Willingness to complete 6 hours of online training prior to the start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
