About the Role:

We’re seeking a part-time piano instructor to teach private lessons to kids (ages 7+) and adults at our cozy, welcoming studio in Fallbrook. Our curriculum blends classical foundations with contemporary styles and encourages creativity, composition, and collaboration. The ability to teach group classes (ages 7+) is a strong plus. Responsibilities:  Teach private piano lessons (and group classes, if applicable) using our creative, well-rounded curriculum  Create weekly practice plans tailored to each student  Communicate progress with parents and studio staff  Prepare students for recitals and in-house band performances (rock band style)  Contribute to student retention through friendly, supportive teaching  Maintain an organized and professional workspace  Assist at events such as recitals, open houses, or workshops as needed Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in music, education, or equivalent work experience  2+ years teaching experience (private or group)  Comfortable working with both children and adults  Strong music reading skills  Ability to teach up to intermediate level and beyond  Experience playing keyboard in contemporary band settings is highly preferred  Excellent communication and organization skills  Fluent in English;
Spanish a plus  Must pass a background check

Schedule:

Immediate need:
Thursdays 2:30-6:30, Friday 2:30-6:30 and Saturday 10-2pm, with the opportunity to expand to earlier hours (starting at 11am) and/or additional days, especially Mondays. Our studio is open Monday–Saturday, and we are actively looking for someone who would like to grow to 10–20 hours/week. Our Culture:
