This role is essential in guiding students through their academic journeys, helping them make informed decisions about their course selections, academic progress, and future career paths. • Provide individual academic advising to students regarding course selection, degree requirements, and academic planning.
• Monitor student academic progress and intervene proactively to address potential challenges.
• Assist students in understanding university policies, procedures, and resources.
• Facilitate workshops and information sessions on topics such as study skills, career exploration, and graduation requirements.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records, utilizing advising software.

• A Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in academic advising , student support, or counseling in a higher education setting.
• Strong knowledge of university academic programs, policies, and student development theories.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
• Proficiency with student information systems and advising technology.
