Special Education Para Professional in Raymond, CA

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment making a real difference in the lives of K-8 students as a dedicated paraprofessional. This role offers the chance to work in a school setting near Raymond, CA, supporting one student directly in a 1:1 capacity. The assignment spans the  school year, from August through June, with a consistent schedule of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

• Associates degree or successful completion of the ETS Paraprofessional Exam
• Experience working with K-8 students preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow teacher and specialist directions with flexibility and reliability
• Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to an assigned student in a general or special education setting
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized plans and accommodations
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that helps your student thrive academically and socially
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and reinforcing learning activities
• Monitor student progress, engage in regular communication with the educational team, and adapt support as needed
