Under the general supervision of the Director of Public Works, the incumbent will perform the duties related to the operation and maintenance of the Tribe's water distribution and treatment systems.
The incumbent is expected to work in accordance with the mission, purpose, and values of the Colusa Indian Community Council.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Experience:
Equivalent of one (1) year of operational experience in water treatment facility - Licensing:
- CA State Water Resources Control Board
- Water Treatment Operator (T1) Certification - CA State Water Resources Control Board
- Water Treatment Operator (D1) Certificate - Valid California Drivers License
None
KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES- Knowledge of parts inventory and warehouse operations;
- Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays when necessary;
- Performs tasks with minimal errors;
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule;
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes;
- Sense of urgency toward project completion;
- Dedicated hard worker with ability to report to work on a daily basis.
