Service Technician

Commission CSI Energy Storage’s Sol Bank Storage Power Block
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of Storage Power Blocks to adhere to warranty requirements
Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands‑on support
Maintain equipment and meet availability and capacity guarantees
Fulfill obligations under Long Term Service Agreements for Battery Energy Storage System projects
Oversee and supervise subcontractors on site when required
Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
Perform proper Lockout/Tagout and switching procedures as needed
Analyze performance data to determine root causes and performance trends
Report to the Regional Service Manager

• Educational background in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy
• Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment
• Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and photovoltaic or Energy Storage system applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
• Previous experience with a CMMS software program is preferred
• Ability to travel to regional locations as needed, over 50% of the time
• Willingness to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout Ontario

Demonstrates expertise in performing preventative and corrective maintenance on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) while adhering to warranty requirements and service agreements. Proficient in analyzing performance data and managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
