This role is vital in identifying opportunities for energy conservation and implementing strategies to reduce consumption across various industrial and commercial facilities. You will conduct detailed energy assessments, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and sustainability.
This position offers a chance to contribute directly to cost savings and environmental impact reduction for clients.
- Conduct comprehensive energy audits for industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities.
- Analyze energy consumption data, identify areas of inefficiency, and quantify savings potential.
- Develop and present detailed reports with actionable recommendations for energy conservation measures (ECMs).
- Oversee the implementation of energy efficiency projects and monitor their performance.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in energy efficiency technologies and sustainable energy practices .
- Advise clients on energy management strategies and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Energy) or Environmental Science.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy auditing or energy management.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of building systems, industrial processes, and energy-saving technologies.
- Knowledge of relevant South African energy regulations and incentive programs.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
